How Potato Points works
What earns points
Things you do on this page, each checked on our side before any points are added. The Tasks list shows what is open right now and what each one is worth.
A click, a visit, or following, liking, reposting or posting on X never earns points.
Seasons and the leaderboard
Two views: Season (points earned in the current season) and Lifetime (every point). Points earned before Season 1 starts count toward Season 1. Its dates are announced on @heypotatchi and shown here first.
Equal points share a rank; whoever got there first is listed first. Your handle, picture and points show on the leaderboard, and you can hide yourself at any time.
Rewards
Points unlock cosmetics without spending them: the Sprout badge at 250 points, the Gold Paw PFP frame at 500, the Royal Potato crown at 1,000 and the Starry Patch PFP background at 2,000 (all points you ever earned), and the Season 1 badge at 3,000 points earned in Season 1.
Your data and your choices
Connecting X lets Potatchi read your public profile. It can’t post, like, follow or message for you. Hide yourself from the leaderboard, disconnect X or delete your points data at any time.
Points recognize participation. No cash value, no tokens, no airdrops, no prizes.

How invites qualify
- Opening your link starts a 7-day window for your friend to connect X. Their invite is confirmed when they connect, and it never changes after that.
- When they qualify, you get 100 and they get a 50-point welcome bonus, once. Clicks, copies and shares never earn anything.
- Your first 20 qualified friends each season earn you points. More friends can still join; they just don’t add inviter points that season.
- Checks keep it fair: brand-new or empty accounts and many sign-ups from one network go to a person first. A shared home network alone never disqualifies anyone, and you can ask for a review.
- One level only, no self-invites, and an account that was here before (even deleted) can’t come back as new.
