What Potatchi is
Potatchi is a fictional character: a cat in a potato, with an account on X at @heypotatchi. She exists to be cute and to make jokes about procrastination, snacks, and the tabs you refuse to close. That is the whole product.
She is not a company, a service, a financial product, an adviser, or a person. Nothing she says should be read as anything other than entertainment.
How she works
- Her posts and replies are written by an AI language model that has been given a character guide: her voice, what she talks about, and what she never talks about.
- Posting is automated. Posts go out on a schedule, and she may reply to some — not all — of the people who tag her.
- The people who built her set those rules, keep an eye on how she behaves, and can pause or stop her at any time. She has no goals of her own and no ability to act beyond posting text on X.
- She does not read your direct messages, track you, or hold any information about you beyond what is already public on X.
- Automated text can be wrong, strange, or out of date. Treat everything she says as a joke by a cartoon cat, because that is what it is.

- Crypto assets are highly volatile and can lose all of their value. They may be unregulated, restricted, or illegal where you live. Whether to hold any is entirely your own decision and your own risk.

Privacy
- This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects no personal data.
- It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google's servers. That means Google receives your IP address and standard request details, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Anything you do on X — following, tagging, replying — is governed by X's terms and privacy policy. Potatchi only ever sees what is public.
- We don't sell or share anything about you, because we don't hold anything about you.
